Something About Me
Prior to becoming a writer, editor, and public relations specialist with her own business (“Media Maven”) and serving as Content Manager for LSS, Lynn was a journalist, media advisor, and actress. At an early age, she was a local reporter and newscaster for National Public Radio before becoming Deputy National Radio Director for the 1992 Clinton-Gore Campaign. After aiding in the Presidential transition and working in the First Lady’s Office, Lynn moved to the press office of U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Donna Shalala. Lynn then spent over a decade acting on stage and screen, and is likely the only person to have both worked in the White House (in real life) and blown up the Oval Office (on television). She works with community groups to secure affordable childcare for Canadian families, volunteers with her son’s school, and mentors colleagues in marketing, writing, and PR.
